Sinchana School

  • The existing school program was started in the academic year 2015 – 16.
  • Timings : 10 am to 1.30 pm
  • Children with disabilities like autism spectrum disorder (ASD), mental retardation (MR), cerebral palsy (CP), learning disability / dyslexia are admitted under this program.
  • Age group: 8 to 15 yrs.
  • The curriculum is a combination of both academic and non-academic content
  • The academic curriculum consists of Functional Academics formulated according to the mental age and the current needs of the child.
  • As part of the non-academic curriculum, we have introduced Yoga (as a therapy), Dance & Movement therapy and Arts & Craft for these children.


Early Intervention

  • One-on-one therapy sessions lasting one-hour
  • Timings: 1.30 pm to 5.00 pm.
  • Currently we have 25 students enrolled into this program.
  • Age-group: 2 to 8 yrs
  • Children with disabilities like autism spectrum disorder (ASD), mental retardation (MR), cerebral palsy (CP), and learning disability / dyslexia are admitted into this program.
  • We work holistically on all the areas of development of the child by using Occupational therapy (OT), Physiotherapy (PT), Speech therapy, cognitive therapy and behavior modification therapy. These therapies improve the child’s attention, concentration, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, cognition/intelligence, etc.


Remedial for slow learners

  • One-on-one sessions lasting one-hour
  • Timings : 3 pm to 5pm
  • Children with learning disability like dyslexia, children with difficulty in Languages and Math are also eligible for this program.
  • Children finish our school program in the morning and come to us in the afternoon for their remedial class.

Yoga therapy

Yoga is implemented as a therapy for children with special needs. Yoga Therapy activities are fun to do, engaging and customized to the needs of individual children.


Dance and movement therapy

The Dance and Movement Therapy activates the kinesthetic skills in these children. Accordingly, the therapy includes movement experiences, games and activities that are specially designed for children/individuals with special needs. Overall development and enhancing the wellness of the children is the focus while creating the module.
